Dear birthparents,

We want to first thank you, from the bottom our hearts, for choosing life for your child. You have made a brave, selfless, and emotional decision and we can’t imagine how difficult it must be. We are grateful that you would consider us as an adoptive family for your baby. We feel that God has lead us to this place in our lives and we look forward to growing our family through adoption. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We are excited to share our life with you.

About Us

We are Nathan and Madison and we have been together since 2008. Our friendship began with Madison’s older brother Michael. Nathan and Michael were firefighters together at a local firehouse. Nathan became good friends with Madison’s family, but it wasn’t until Madison moved back from college that we developed a strong friendship. With the blessing of Madison’s family, we started dating, and have been married for 5 years. Married in 2010, we have grown together in our faith and have experienced the blessing of both of our families coming together as one.

After experiencing difficulties getting pregnant, we know that God has shown us the blessings of adoption. Though we did not anticipate our infertility, adoption has always been a plan for growing our family, as Nathan himself was adopted by his step father. We strongly feel that love extends beyond biological connections.  This past year, we were blessed to welcome our son with the help of IVF, but his arrival has not wavered our commitment to adoption. We look forward to giving our son a little brother or sister.

We enjoy many outdoor activities together like hiking, boating, camping, working out, traveling, and spending time with our family and friends. Nathan also enjoys cooking, diving and fishing. Madison enjoys reading, baking, and gardening.

About Nathan (by Madison)

Ever since I have known Nathan, he has always been a hard worker that is passionate about everything he does. I truly admire his integrity and dedication in all aspects of life. He has always been a huge support for me and always encourages me to give my everything, in everything. Nathan is kind, loving, and compassionate. He desires to help people and make things better. He is the perfect balance of problem solver and supporter, not to mention loyal and intelligent. I am amazed by his ability to create and organize and I love that he is active and enjoys being outdoors. Most of all, he is full of love for our family and me. I am grateful that God has blessed me to be the wife of such a selfless man. He is always working hard to provide and he makes it a priority to spend time with our family as much as possible. It brings me complete joy to watch him with our nieces and nephews. The way he loves and nurtures them, makes me excited to see him with our kids one day. I know he will make a wonderful father.

About Madison (by Nathan)

Madison is the love of my life. I am unbelievably blessed to be the husband of such a beautiful, caring and loving women. My favorite trait Madison possesses is her overwhelming love for God. Her ability to share the love of Christ inspires me to be a better man. She is patient in times of haste, caring when others are careless, and loving when love is absent. She is everything I would want in a mother for my child and seeing her in the presence of children warms my heart. It is without a doubt in my mind that the Lord placed Madison on this Earth to be a mother. I look forward to that every day I awake. I love her with all my heart.

Family connections are very important to us. We both have very close relationships with our families and live within close proximity with them. Nathan is the oldest of three sons. He and his brothers grew up close and very involved in hockey and soccer. Both of his brothers work in the communication industry and visit us regularly. Nathan's youngest brother is married with a son, which we enjoying spending time with and babysitting. Madison is the youngest of three, with an older brother and sister. She grew up playing softball with her sister who is now married with two girls. Her brother has a beautiful wife, son, and daughter that we see often.

Both of our parents are retired and enjoy spending their days with their children and grandchildren. They have been Godly examples to us and continue to encourage us to live Christ centered lives.

We have been so blessed to have the full support of our family through the adoption process. They are excited by the possibility of extending our family.

Another important member of our family is our dog Guster. He joined our family when he was 11 weeks old. He is silly and playful and always making us laugh. He is super smart and we love to teach him new tricks. Guster has lots of energy and loves to play with our nieces and nephews. We are so grateful for him and the joy he brings to our family.

Our Home

When purchasing our home, we looked for a place where we could raise a family and provide our children with a safe and fun environment. We have a 2 story home with four bedrooms and a beautiful backyard that Nathan just recently designed and completed.

We live in the lake community that Madison grew up in blocks from the waters edge. Our neighborhood allows us to enjoy boating, skiing, golfing, and camping. Our community offers many activities and clubs for young families. Some of our favorites are the fishing derby, Christmas boat parade, community parties, and many water activities such as paddle boarding and skiing. They also have a baseball diamond and a community lodge where they hold local events.

Schools are located a few minutes away along with numerous parks and playgrounds. We enjoy taking Guster to the dog park down the street from our house. We have established strong relationships with our neighbors and have several friends that live in the community as well.

Our Promise

We promise to love and cherish your child selflessly. We promise to provide your child with everything possible to experience a happy and healthy life. We will teach them about God and instill in them a moral foundation that will lead them through a life of faith, love, and joy.

We are so thankful that you took the time to look through our profile. We are very excited to be considered to love and raise your child. Know that you are being prayed for as you continue this journey and have the support of our family. We look forward to joining this journey with you.
